shmlv. is operated by Denis Shumilov, an independent developer based in Ukraine ("shmlv", "I", "me", "my").
01What I collect
a. Website data
This site does not load advertising pixels or tracking cookies. It currently loads Google Fonts, uses Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly website measurement, and may link to or embed YouTube content only after you choose to open it. These providers, along with the hosting provider, may receive basic technical data such as IP address, browser details, page URL, referrer, and request logs.
b. Order and billing data
Payments are processed through Payhip, a third-party checkout provider. When you buy a Product, Payhip and I may process data such as your name, email address, country, transaction identifiers, the Product purchased, and tax information.
c. Account and download data
If you use a shmlv. account, I process the email address you use to sign in, password credential records where applicable, magic-link and session records, product entitlements, download availability, download events, and basic security data such as hashed IP address or user-agent values where needed to protect access to paid files. Passwords are not stored as plain text; the account system stores salted password hashes.
d. Support data
If you contact me for support, I may receive the information you send, including your name, email, order details, DAW and OS information, message content, and any screenshots or files you choose to share.
e. Optional marketing data
I do not send newsletters or marketing emails unless you clearly opt in.
02How I use your data
- Deliver Products and confirm purchases
- Let you sign in, recover downloads, access trial or beta builds, and view product entitlements
- Confirm purchases, handle license or refund questions, and prevent fraud or abuse
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot problems
- Send service messages about downloads, updates, and order issues
- Keep accounting, tax, legal, and dispute-resolution records
I do not sell your personal data. I do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
03How data is shared
I only share data when needed to run the business or comply with law. That may include Payhip (for checkout, billing, tax, receipts, refunds, and webhooks), Cloudflare (for hosting, account API, D1 database, R2 private download storage, Turnstile checks, and security logs), Google (for optional Google sign-in, Google Fonts, and YouTube pages or embeds you choose to open), email providers such as Resend or similar transactional email services (for magic links and service messages), Plausible Analytics, and professional advisers or authorities where required.
04Retention
I keep purchase and billing records for as long as reasonably needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Account, entitlement, session, magic-link, and download records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide access, prevent abuse, support refunds, and maintain security. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
05Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@shmlv.com.
06Cookies and tracking
I do not use advertising cookies. Plausible Analytics is used without cookies for aggregate website analytics. If you sign in, the account system uses secure HTTP-only cookies for your session and, during Google sign-in, a short-lived OAuth state check. Third-party services such as Payhip, Cloudflare, Google, and YouTube may process request data or use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies when their resources are loaded or when you open their pages.
07Children's privacy
shmlv. Products are not directed to children. Do not submit personal data or make purchases if you are under the required age in your country.
08Changes
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version posted on the site applies from its stated effective date.
